BCBE Construction Begins Renovating Vanderbilt Country Club, Naples, Florida

BCBE Construction is pleased to announce the start of the renovation project at Vanderbilt Country Club in Naples, Florida. The groundbreaking ceremony was held earlier in October on its new Pool Grille & Bar. This new Pool Grille & Bar is the first of many new renovations to come to Vanderbilt Country Club over the next 18 months, including a new fitness center and a remodeled and expanded clubhouse, enlarged dining room and bar.

The Pool Grille & Bar will offer covered seating for 64 members and guests, including 14 barstools at the horseshoe-shaped bar. This outdoor spot will service those lounging at the pool, tennis players, fitness center users, and those simply wanting to enjoy a casual breakfast or lunch al fresco, Florida style. The Pool Grille & Bar will encourage membership camaraderie and be a very pleasant place to hang out.

John Laliberte, General Manager/Chief Operating Officer stated, “Exciting times for our Vanderbilt community!  Our Vanderbilt members are anxious to get this two-phase Facility Master Plan project underway.  It’s all about our Club’s commitment to enhancing the amenities and the lifestyle experience that our Vanderbilt members continue to enjoy.”

Project participants include Humphrey Rosal Architects, Interior Design Firm ClubDesign Group, Mechanical Engineers Energy Concepts of SW Florida, Civil Engineer Community Engineering Services and General Contractor BCBE Construction. These professionals work together with the Vanderbilt Community Association Board Members.

Architect Dave Humphrey describes this new Pool Grille & Bar as an open air structure in a transitional Style with European influences and will be a hub of activity for the active-minded member. It will be the first of the campus buildings to reflect the updated color scheme with a terracotta barrel tile roof.

The Pool Grille & Bar project is another step towards Vanderbilt’s goal of being recognized as the premier bundled community in Southwest Florida. Masterfully designed to preserve the native pines and palmettos, Vanderbilt Country Club boasts over 320 acres of shimmering lakes, lush fairways and nature preserves. Beautifully integrated in this gated community are a variety of luxury single-family homes, unique villas, one and two car garage carriage homes and golf and lake view condominiums.
